Germany's Schott Desag AG (Gruenenplan), part of the Mainz-based Schott group, saw turnover fall by 1% to DM207.1m in the period from 30 September 1997-1998. The export ratio increased slightly to 49%. The management and supervisory boards are proposing a dividend of DM 9 per DM50 share on balance sheet profits of DM 5.4m.
