Schott Changes In Us

Schott Glass has opened a pharmaceuticals packaging plant in the US. The plant, situated in Lebanon, PA, received investment of $14M and employs 150 staff. It currently manufacturers ampoules, vials and cartridges. But Schott Scientific Glass has closed its North American plant with the loss of around 200 jobs. Work at the Parkersburg site has been transferred to plants in Germany, Spain and Brazil.
