Saint-Gobain Sells Blocks Business

Saint-Gobain has sold its glass blocks business, part of its German company Saint-Gobain Oberland, to the Italian group Seves. Seves was already one of the world's biggest suppliers of glass blocks, an architectural glass introduced in the 1920s and used in interior and sometimes external applications. The Seves company is also a leading producer of glass insulators for electric power transmission applications, and of lighting glass.
