Saint-Gobain Sekurit Invests For Future Of Motoring

Saint-Gobain has announced a EUR 4 million investment for its Sekurit autoglass plant at Avilés (Asturias, northern Spain). The aim is to upgrade plant machinery in order to meet the challenge of complex, sophisticated products that will be demanded of the motor industry in the future, said Ricardo de Ramón, director general of Saint-Gobain Sekurit for Spain and Portugal. The Avilés plant currently produces around 2.2 million, high-value windscreens per annum, making it the Sekurit group's leading plant in Europe.
