For many years, Saint-Gobain SEFPRO has been committed to supply glassmakers with innovative refractory solutions to solve critical issues such as cat scratches and blistering. The company recently launched HPAL in the market. HPAL is a glass container sintered (vibrocast) solution made of very pure alumina (94%) with excellent blistering performances. HPAL has already helped many glassmakers, especially in the tableware, high quality bottles, and cosmetics sectors to lower blistering formation potential in contact with white/extra white glasses.
