Saint-Gobain Reorganisation Of Scandanavian Operations

Saint-Gobain is reorganising its operations in Scandinavia. As of the beginning of 2009, Isover, Gyproc, and Ecophon became part of Saint-Gobain Construction Products. Maxit, which makes stone and mineral-based construction materials will be merged with the units later. All the units will continue to operate independently. Saint-Gobain Construction Products has net sales of EUR 270M and employs 800 people. Finnglass, Autover Finland, and Sekurit will become part of Saint-Gobain Glass Finland. They have net sales of EUR 30M. Saint-Gobain Pipesystems will be merged with the other units later.
