Saint-Gobain Increases Glass Wool Production In Russia

In the light of steadily increasing demand for good quality insulation in Russia and its neighbouring countries, Saint-Gobain Isover has decided to more than triple glass wool capacity at its Yegorievsk, Russia, plant. The investment will be made by the company, through its Finnish subsidiary Saint-Gobain Isover Oy. The previous investment at the Yegorievsk plant was a medium-sized glass wool line with around 100 employees. The line has been running at full capacity since the startup in October 2003.
