Ruud Beerkens To Retire

Prof. Dr. Ir. Ruud Beerkens, Senior Scientist at CelSian Glass & Solar is to end his career after 32 years of working in the glass industry. He will leave his role in June 2014. CelSian has designed a 14 month plan to transfer his duties step-by-step to other members of staff. During the transition period, Mr Beerkens will remain as Senior Advisor for the CelSian management team. Another major change in the company is the handover by Piet van Santen from MD of CelSian to Joris Goossens, which took place on 1st August 2013. Mr Goossens will also be GlassTrend chairman and teach in the Glass Technology courses.
