Russian Float Plant

The Mordovcement Group plans to begin creation of a float glass plant in the Republic of Mordovia, in Russia, in 2014. According to the regional government, the plant will cost around US$ 241.2M and its capacity will be 250M square metres of glass per year. Besides the factory, plans are also in place to start manufacturing high quality optical glass for solar panels and alternative energy. The business will create around 1035 additional jobs.
