[Russia] Foam Glass Facility Planned

RCNT & the Vladimir ZAO "Company PECC-Vladimir" plan to begin production of insulation foam glass. The use of foam glass in the energy sector, in construction of residential houses & industrial premises, nullifies the loss of heat, allowing significant energy savings. In the experimental phase the company produced a volume of about 2 thousand m³ per year but at full capacity production should rise to 100,000 m³. The project will cost about 4.5BN/roubles. If an agreement is reached with Rosnano on cash investments, the new enterprise will be ready in 2013, and employ about 200 people.
