Romanian glassmaker Gerom plans to invest EUR 60.4M in the medium-term in its food packaging and automotive glass production. Gerom's shareholders approved EUR 48.4M for the production of jars and an EUR 12M investment in the production of automotive glass. The company will also finance the investments by taking on loans of up to EUR 41.34M. Gerom is located in Buzau, south-eastern Romania and employs over 300. The company produces glass for vehicles, mirrors, windows & screens used in the ship building industry.
