Rockware has taken delivery of an IS machine rebuilt by IS Maintenance for its factory at Doncaster. The machine has narrow neck press and blow capability and uses the new ware protection system (WPS) from IS Maintenance. The WPS is an electronically-raised/lowered cover for the machine conveyor that stops contaminants from entering wide mouth jars; it will be installed on all the lines at the factory. IS Maintenance has developed a close relationship with Rockware. It supplied 5.5 and 4.25 inch exchange modules, forehearth steelwork and four advanced gob loading systems for the 2001 furnace rebuild at Doncaster. It then supplied another ALS and 4.25 inch exchange module for Rockware's Irvine factory, and then a complete machine. (whole item)
