Rockware Expands

Rockware Glass opened its second glass recycling plant in October, next to its existing facility at Wheatley, Doncaster. Owned and operated by Berryman Glass, it is the only facility of its kind in the UK that can process both container and plant glass. The new plant will predominantly be recycling flint cullet, but has the flexibility to switch to both green and amber glass if required. With a capacity of 225,000/tpa, it effectively doubles Rockware's ability to process cullet in combination with the plant at Rockware's head office site in Knottingley, W Yorks. (whole item)
