Research Into Householder Participation In Recycling Schemes

There are many variations of kerbside recycling schemes in the UK and local authorities (LAs) rarely compare and pool conditions, schemes or outputs to maximize recycling at least cost, most rapidly. Householder participation is vital to the success of these schemes, and Dee Moloney from London Remade, reports on scarce research into what influences and motivates participation in kerbside schemes, taken from participation surveys carried out across the UK.
