Research Exchange Program Builds International Relationships, Enhances Research, Opens Eyes To World

In today's global marketplace, it is more important then ever for students and researchers to gain an international perspective. Some are doing so through the Research Exchange program offered by the International Materials Institute for New Functionality in Glass based at Lehigh University (USA). The aim of the Research Exchange is to encourage and facilitate international collaborations that will lead to creating new applications and opportunities for glass. Since 2004, the IMI-NFG program has supported more than 115 exchanges, involving 25 countries in addition to the US, as explained in this article.
