Refractory Plant Opens In China

US-based Magneco/Metrel has announced the opening of a new production facility in Tianjin, China, for its nanoparticualte refractory technology for the glass, aluminium, copper, ceramic, iron and steel industries. The plant has production capacity of 2000 tonnes per month of high performance refractory material for use in industrial furnace construction and repair. "This new, state-of-the-art plant will allow us to meet the burgeoning demand for our Sol-Gel product line in S Korea, Taiwan and China," said Charles Connors senior, President of Magneco/Metrel.
