Red Bull Uk - Investing In Thai Sabai

Red Bull UK is investing £2.5M on a trade and consumer marketing campaign to launch its second wine spritzer in a year. Sabai Pomegranate is a blend of Thai wine, pomegranate juice and carbonated spring water. It has an ABV of 5% and half the sugar content of traditional RTSs. It follows the launch of Sabai Hibiscus in the UK in summer 2006. MD Harry Drnec said: "With the introduction of Pomegranate, we fully expect to take ownership of the ready-to-drink spritzer category and for sales to exceed a quarter of a million cases in 2007." It comes in 275ml bottles and retails at £4.99 for a four bottle pack in Tesco from 14 May. It is available in bars nationwide from 8 April.
