The network provides a unique service, which directs ELV owners to their nearest AFT via the official web site & a dedicated call centre, which is equipped to answer any ELV questions. There is no fee for AFTs joining the Recycle your Car network & member AFTs have total freedom to use the service of Sims Group UK Ltd, a leading recycling company whenever they want to. The service is advertised in local areas & will support any organisations wanting to proactively inform the public of how to safely dispose of a vehicle which is at the end of its useful life. Recycle your Car also offers an innovative abandoned vehicle service across the UK. Its aim is to provide a cost effective vehicle collection/recycling service, but more importantly local schemes to reduce the number of vehicles becoming abandoned in the first place.
