Real-Time Temperature Measurement

US-based Raytek has introduced DataTemp MP, a temperature profiling software for the firm's Thermalert MP40 infrared linescanner. The company says that the fast, new software displays real-time profiles and thermal images of edge-to-edge product temperature. The easy-to-use Windows interface allows remote set-up and immediate adjustment of scanner parameters such as measurement sector size, high/low temperature alarms, and scanner field-of-view. With DataTemp MP, process engineers can simultaneously monitor, record or playback temperature data in multiple windows. This feature allows them to visually compare current temperature data against recalled recipe graphs for process troubleshooting, statistical process control and optimization.
