Two new batch controllers for fast and accurate dosing and weighing have been developed by Raute Precision, the Finnish engineering firm. The WB-951 version is a single component batch controller which is a totally upgraded version of Raute's previous models. According to the manufacturer, the WB-951 has high internal resolution, the fastest possible control speed and sophisticated dosing control software. The controller also has advanced calibration and diagnostic properties which can compensate for errors. The more advance multicomponent WB-950 has all the features of the WB-951, but can also handle the entire recipe of the scales individually without the need for a PLC. The WB-950 communicates directly with the scales' material dosing devices. The controller has a freely configurable I/O system with 48 digital outputs and inputs as well as an analogue output.
