Quinn Glass Delivers New Bottles For Supermarket

Quinn Glass is working with drinks supplier Kingsland wines & Spirits and the supermarket operator Tesco to provide two designs of green bottle with up to 90% cullet content. It will also supply a clear bottle design with lower cullet content. The bottles are also lightweight. Echo Falls and Stowells wines, from Constellation Europe, will be sold in the new bottles. Another supermarket group, Morrisons, is involved in a similar lightweight project with Corby Bottlers. Meanwhile, Quinn has completed the rebuilding of F furnace at is Deryylin plant in Ireland. The £19M project also involves the installation of Emhart Glass NIS forming machines: Emhart Inex Veritas and IBIC cold end inspection equipment and MSK cold end equipment.
