Glatfelter is committed to developing environmentally-conscious products and production techniques that support the demand for recycled materials. With that in mind, the company has developed GepaGreen, a unique, sustainable metallized paper designed for wet glue label applications. The fiber-mix of the base paper consists of up to 35% recycled materials and at least 65% of the remaining fibers from sustainable forestry. GepaGreen is converted via a multi-stage, prime process involving precise controls of coating and aluminium to discrete levels, providing optimum performance.
