Proposed Deposit System For Scotland

Zero Waste Scotland has recently published a report entitled “Deposit Return Evidence Summary” which is the latest review of evidence on deposit systems and their applicability to Scotland. This current document seeks to summarise the findings of those discussions, and includes the range of stakeholder evidence and views shared. This document is not a comprehensive review of all evidence on deposit systems and their applicability for Scotland. It is explicitly focused on the key issues identified by government as needing further investigation.
