Glasspac.com - Glass Packaging Communication - has been launched in the UK to promote glass packaging, after independent research carried out by Taylor Nelson Sofres revealed that an overwhelming majority of consumers prefer glass to other forms of packaging. Glasspac.com is intended to be the central source of information on the benefits of glass packaging for consumers, brand owners, packaging designers and the press. The organisation will campaign to persuade packaging users that glass must be an option for their products.
