This paper illustrates the possibility of using recycled glass to obtain foam glass as an added value product. Soda-lime glass cullet, lead and barium silicate glasses from cathode ray tubes, and a silicate industrial waste from the polishing of porcelain stoneware were used as starting materials to produce cellular glasses. The control of the cellular structure and therefore the tailoring of the expected final material properties were achieved by varying the processing parameters.
