Problems Associated With Glass Analysis By Means Of An Automatic X-Ray Spectrograph

Studies of the x-ray spectrographic analysis of glass dating back to 1958 have indicated several problems associated with inter element effects(matrix). Over the years these inter element correction factors have been determined for system of analysis.With the installation of an automated x-ray specrograph in 1969, glass analysis was set up following procedure developed earlier on the manual instruments which certain modifications.
