Privatised Bottle Maker To Invest

Misr Glass Manufacturing, the company that bought the bottle making operations of Egypt's nationalised El Nasr Glass in March, is to invest nearly Euros 20M over the next two years to improve its factory at Mostorod, near Cairo. It has increased production from 4000 tonnes per month to 5000. The factory manufactures clear, brown and green glass bottles and ampoules and has plans to replace two of its three furnaces and three of its nine forming lines.
