Prince Minerals Into Refractories With Rmi Buy

Prince Mineral Holding Corp. has continued its run of strategic acquisitions through the purchase of Refractory Materials International Inc (RMI), claimed to be the largest North American producer of ladle and furnace sands for the steel industry. Prince said the acquisition would provide it with broader exposure to the North American steel industry and expose Prince's existing products to new markets. Prince did not disclose how much it paid to acquire RMI. RMI is a private company founded in 1990 and is based at McAlla, Alabama (USA). For the last 15 years, Prince has been RMI's principal supplier of refractory raw materials.
