Press & Blow Machines

Developed for production of seamless blown crystal glass articles of high quality, the press-and-blow machine IS PB 45, from Poting, has a 2-in-1 construction, with one pressing unit and two blowing units. According to the manufacturer, contrary to the standard process with one press mould and one blow mould, this machine operates with one press mould and two blow moulds. The pressing and the blowing process are not consecutive processes but are executed parallel to each other. The result, says Poting, is up to 30% faster production.
