Precision Spinning Systems

French firm, CyberGlass, supplies a range of spinning machines. The Spin 10, Spin 20 and Multispin all feature high torque brushless motors, high programme storage capacity, fast mould change, regulation of parameters during operation and the possibility of manufacturing several items at the same time. The company points out specific advantages of items produced by spinning rather than pressing: reduced weight; thin walls; constant thickness; perfectly smoothe surfaces; higher output as a result of fewer defects; no need for fire polishing; cheaper moulds and lower maintenance. Moreover, points out CyberGlass, thanks to the constant glass thickness and absence of faults, the spun articles can be easily tempered.
