Glass furnace company Micro-Tek Canada has recently joined forces with the UK's Poulton Ltd, a leading refractory engineering contractor, in order to provide a comprehensive service to refractories users worldwide. Micro-Tek Canada has been working exclusively serving the glass manufacturing industry for over 30 years. The company employs the use of automated computer controlled equipment, including a progressive approach to furnace controls, using the "Closed Circuit Television System" (CCTV). This state-of-the-art approach enables the modern furnace manager to see flame patterns, batch pile formations and melt rates with greater clarity and accuracy than has been possible before.
