[Poland] Warta Glass - Name Change For Subsidiary

Poland's Warta Glass is aiming to change the name of its subsidiary Panevezio Stiklas (Panevezys Glass), the sole Lithuanian producer of clear glass containers, to Warta Glass Panevezys. The measure would be taken in order to harmonize the company's name with those of the Polish holding's other subsidiaries, i.e. Warta Glass Sierakow and Warta Glass Jedlice, said Grazina Bernotiene, head of Panevezio Stiklas' board office. Shareholders will vote on the name change at a meeting scheduled for 29 January 2009. Panevezio Stiklas reported turnover of LTL 82M (EUR 23.77M) in 2007.
