[Plastics] Ax Hangs Over 100 Jobs At Rexam Us

Around 100 jobs are under threat at a Rexam plastics packaging operations in the US after it was announced the site would close in the fourth quarter of 2010. The news follows the firm's sale of a Wisconsin personal care facility in a management buy-out. Production from the Nashua, New Hampshire facility will be absorbed by other Rexam facilities following the closure and Rexam said it would help employees affected by the move to find jobs and retrain staff where required.
