[Plastics] Andrew Peace Futurpak

Andrew Peace is the first Australian producer to choose what is said to be an environmentally-friendly "FuturPak" over traditional glass bottles. Launched at the recent Australia Day Tastings, the 1-litre package has the same rrp as an equivalent 75cl bottle (around £5.99), is said to be easy to open, and is resealable. The wine is protected by a layer of aluminium foil, and the carton is vacuum-sealed. It environmental credentials are as result of the reduction in resources required for production, transportation and disposal when compared to traditional packaging.
