Pirelli Cavi - Brazilian Fibre Optic Project

A new US$25m unit of Italy's Pirelli group, Pirelli Cavi, is set to begin production of 600,000km of optical fibre/year. The 3,200-square meter facility, located in the Brazilian city of Sorocaba, will be the biggest in South America.
