Pilkington And Visteon In Joint Venture For Ford Glass

Pilkington has signed a letter of intent with Visteon, one of the world's leading suppliers of automotive systems, to form a new joint venture glass company. Although negotiations are still at an early stage, the venture aims to combine Pilkington's global reach and advanced glass technologies with Visteon's strong customer base. It will be the major supplier of automotive glass to Ford in North America.
