APPE has launched a pet jar capable, according to the company, of hot-fill and/or pasteurisation up to 95 degrees centigrade. The "ThermaLite" container results from the companies partnership with Nissei ASB GmbH and is said to offer food manufacturers and retailers "a variety of convenience and sustainability benefits over more traditional packaging formats like glass."
