Pronal has develped a range of palletizing grippers made from elastomer-coated fabrics. The French company says that these products are designed for the glass industry for gripping, conveying, palletizing and depalletizing bottles. Pronal claims it has just designed and produced two types of palletizing bags: one in a U-shape and one with a short neck. These grippers may therefore be used for handling all kinds and shapes of bottles regardless of the neck height. According to the company, glassmakes and bottlers no longer need to modify their gripping system according to the type of bottles to be handled. By improving handling, the Pronal palletizing gripper makes it possible to increase the gripping speed, and significantly reduces maintainance work on the machines. (whole item)
