Packaging Waste Prevention In Europe

The European Association of Cities for Recycling (ACR) believes that there is a lack of harmony across European Union member states concerning packaging waste, with different concepts of waste prevention serving to confuse the issue. A recent ACR study has reviewed the tapestry of systems in use across Europe, and concludes that clearer, more effective legislation is needed.
