Packaging Prizes For Saint-Gobain

Saint-Gobain has won awards in France and Germany for its glass packaging. In Germany's packaging competition, the Saint-Gobain Oberland company won best achievement award for its label less beer bottle for Veltins. Instead of a label, the bottle has the brand engraved on the glass and all other details and information are printed onto the cap of the bottle. In France, Saint-Gobain Desjonqueres won the Francois premier luxury packaging prize for its Camus Extra cognac bottle. The judges said the bottle's modern and simple lines gave it a very distinctive appearance - there is no label or writing on the bottle and the glass used is thick to magnify the bottle's contents and enhance its value.
