Owens Corning, Saint-Gobain Build Glass Reinforcement Plant

Owens Corning and Saint-Gobain are building a joint manufacturing venture at Xicohtencatl, Mexico, for the production of high quality glass fibre reinforcement products. That plant is adjacent a Saint-Gobain Vetrotex facility. The state-of-the-art facility will produce roving products to be sold across a broad range of end use markets. Production from the 50/50 joint share venture will be sold in equal shares through Saint-Gobain Vetrotex and Owens Corning international sales networks.
