Owens Corning (OC) is teaming up with e-learning provider Element K to provide online workplace safety training to more than 10,000 of its employees. The agreement was announced by Element K on 8 October. The Workplace Safety Library will map against the US Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) regulations affecting OC's business. As part of the multi-year agreement, more than 200 plants and distribution centres nationwide have access to Element K online learning through Owens Corning University. The agreement plays a role in OC's "One Safe Company" corporate initiative, which is a commitment to an injury and accident-free career for all employees, by providing employees with standardised, up-to-date, and accessible workplace safety training.
