Owens Corning To Increase Glass Fiber Cfm Production In Italy

Owens Corning will increase production of continuous filament fiber glass mat reinforcements to meet market demand by restarting a second production line at its Besana, Italy, manufacturing facility by the end of October. The action will increase production of continuous filament mat by nearly 40% compared to the current quarter. Chuck Dana, Group President, Composite Solutions sad the production increases demonstrate the company's commitment to the composites industry and to supporting current market demand.
