Owens Corning Doubles Capacity For Composites

Owens Corning has spent Euros 30M on increasing its composites facility in the Netherlands. Veil Technologies in Apeldoorn produces glass non-woven mat for a worldwide market, and the expansion supports the company's global growth strategy in the speciality non-wovens market. The new line features latest innovations in process technologies with Veil Technologies vice president Raymund Trost explaining: "Key growth drivers for this business are focused product innovations and continuous market-driven applications development." The investment has also increased the workforce by 30%.
