Owens-Corning Chinese Acquisition

Owens-Corning is to buy Chinese glass fibre bushing producer Tanaka Kikinzoku Suzhou (TKS). TKS is a producer of glass fibre bushings and other parts which service the Chinese glass industry and has been operating since 2006. TKS will become a part of Owens-Corning GlassMetal Services, which makes glass fibre bushings and related parts for the glass fibre industry. The purchase only involves Tanaka's TKS business. Both OC and Tanaka have other bushing business concerns globally. Owens-Corning's bushing facilities include locations in Singapore, USA and Brazil.
