Owens Corning Adds Fuel To Glass Fibre Surge

Owens Corning Co., one of the Fortune 500 firms and a leading global maker of fibreglass and composite materials, recently unfolded a three-pronged strategy to strengthen its China presence in anticipation of greater business opportunities in the marketplace. The US-based firm is investing more than US$4.2M into setting up its fourth China-based fibreglass materials venture in North China's Tianjin municipality to meet the rising demand of local industrial and dwelling construction needs.
