Optical Glass Level Monitoring

A new non-contact glass level controller has been developed by German firm Zippe. The company says its BZ 30 system is esy to install and suitable for all glass furnaces, in the area of the forehearth and feeder. Unlike radiometric control equipment, no operational licence is required, and since the system is a non-contact one, there is no mechanical ware.
