The Opel Vectra With Safety Mirrors

Since the beginning of 2002, the new Opel Vectra 2002 model has been equipped with exterior mirror glass made by Schott Desag, in a continuing tradition of supplying mirror glass to Opel. On the driver's side, the new Vectra is equipped with an "Aspherix" exterior safety mirror which eliminates the blind spot. The expanded field of view has been proven to help avoid accidents. "Aspherix" is standard with nearly all EU automobile manufacturers and has two different curvatures, which increase the angle of view for the driver and hence enlarge the field of view by more than 200%.
