The Society of Glass Technology (Society of Glass Technology) to encourage you to submit your nominations for this year's Oldfield Award. The Oldfield award is bestowed by the Society of Glass Technology for research project reports by either Undergraduate or taught Masters students. Reports relating to amorphous materials are encouraged from all subject areas. The closing date for entries for this year's award is Friday 30th June. The Oldfield Award is open to both UK and international students and further details of the Oldfield Award and submission criteria can be found at the following web address: https://www.Society of Glass Technology.org/Student/Oldfield.html The best three applications are awarded cash prizes and student membership to the Society of Glass Technology for one year. It is also customary for them to be invited to receive their awards in person at the Society of Glass Technology Annual Meeting (Cambridge, England, 3-6th September 2017. During the course of this conference they will have the opportunity to present their work.
