Oberland Glass AG has reported financial losses for the year 1998. The company realised turnover of DM648.1m, down by 3.9% on the previous year. Growing competition has been the major factor influencing the results and the company had to cut its workforce by 61 people, to 1866. Capital expenditure was around 20% more than the previous year, totalling DM76.8m, but cash flow saw a positive increase, rising by DM5.2m to DM96.2m. (whole item)
